Aqueous tape casting of the 0.7Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.3PbTiO3 ceramic films: Production optimization and properties

The 0.7Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.3PbTiO3 ceramic films were prepared using the water-based tape casting method. Two main components of slurry are water and solids. concentrations other chemicals, surfactant binder, at level 1 wt.%. Both binder eco-friendly polymers. Additional chemicals not required. optimal concentration determined through viscosity measurements. density ceramics was studied as a function binder. is nearly independent amount despite wide range values concentration. This independence powerful tool to cast different techniques. substantially depends only on polymers removal protocol optimized thermogravimetric analysis. As result, translucent with relative 98% thickness 70 μm prepared. permittivity, remnant polarization pyrocurrent measurements, along scanning electron microscopy, prove high ceramics.
